2. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing
2.1 Website Access
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files. This includes IP address, date and time of the request, the requested URL, HTTP status code, referrer URL, and browser information. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the technical operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
2.2 Investor Newsletter
When you sign up for our investor newsletter, we process your email address and the specified investor category (Family Office, Cleantech VC, etc.) for the purpose of sending progress reports and investor communications. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The newsletter is delivered via the service Intuit Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA).
A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Mailchimp, as well as standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR for data transfers to the United States (third country). Mailchimp is additionally certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

2.3 Email Contact
When you contact us by email, we process your information to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). Inquiries are deleted after processing, no later than three years, unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.
3. Fonts
The fonts used on this site (IBM Plex, SIL Open Font License 1.1) are served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider is established, and your IP address is not transmitted to any third party.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We currently do not use any tracking cookies, analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar), or marketing pixels on this website. No user profiles are created.
5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

The competent authority in Italy is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma (garanteprivacy.it).
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We update this privacy policy when the legal framework or our data processing changes. The current version is always available on this page.
